Office Manager
Janie was born in Lima, Ohio, and raised in Bluffton, Ohio. She graduated from Bluffton High School and went on to attend Northwestern Business College (UNOH). Janie has been with the Pure Smiles Findlay practice for more than 40 years!
One of Janie’s favorite hobbies is going to Disney World!
Jenny
Administrative Professional
Jenny was born and raised in Idaho. She joined Pure Smiles Findlay in October 2018. One of Jenny’s favorite things about the dental industry is helping people enjoy better health. She also loves the fun that she and her co-workers have together.
When she is not at work, Jenny can be found at her remodeled 120-year-old farmhouse. She enjoys baking, gardening and reading. Jenny has been married for 29 years to Craig. They have two adult children who currently live too far away!
Sara
Administrative Professional
Sara is an Administrative Professional originally from Ohio who has recently joined the team at Pure Smiles Findlay in March 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Bowling Green State University.
Sara has a passion for helping others, particularly in the dental industry where she finds the most satisfaction in assisting patients to alleviate their pain. She is a member of the American Golf Foundation’s Emergency Hardship Individual Grant, reflecting her dedication to supporting those in need.
When not at work, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. She has a personal goal of visiting Disney World in the future. An interesting fact about Sara is that she was born a triplet, which has provided her with unique experiences and perspectives throughout her life.
With her education, experience, and dedication to helping others, Sara is a valuable asset to the Pure Smiles Findlay team and is poised to make a positive impact on the dental industry.
Jackie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jackie was born and raised in Miller City, Ohio, and currently resides in Glandorf, Ohio. She received her education at Findlay and has been a valuable member of the Pure Smiles Findlay team since 1997.
Throughout her career, Jackie has gained a wealth of experience in the dental industry, and she is passionate about improving her patients’ overall oral health. Her favorite thing about working in the dental industry is the patient interaction, and she finds great satisfaction in helping her patients achieve their oral health goals. She also loves the sense of camaraderie she shares with her colleagues and considers them to be her “awesome work family.”
When she’s not at work, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family, going on shopping trips, gardening, and traveling. With her warm and friendly personality, her commitment to patient care, and her love for her work family, Jackie is a beloved member of the Pure Smiles Findlay team.
Laura
Registered Dental Hygienist
Laura is a dedicated dental professional with a passion for helping her patients achieve optimal oral health. Born and raised in rural Ottawa, Ohio, Laura grew up on a dairy farm as the youngest of nine children. From a young age, she learned the importance of hard work and the value of family.
After completing her high school education, Laura pursued her passion for dentistry and earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in dental hygiene from Lima Technical College. Over the past 38 years, Laura has gained extensive experience working in the dental industry, and she joined Pure Smiles Findlay part-time in 2015 before transitioning to full-time in 2017.
Laura is known for her warm and friendly personality, and her patients appreciate her gentle touch and personalized approach. Her favorite aspect of working in the dental industry is developing long-lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. She takes pride in educating her patients about proper dental care and empowering them to take control of their oral health.
When she’s not at work, Laura enjoys staying active by exercising and completing home projects. She also cherishes spending quality time with her husband, adult children, and granddaughter. With her strong work ethic, caring nature, and extensive experience in the dental industry, Laura is a valuable member of the Pure Smiles Findlay team.
Holly
Registered Dental Hygienist
Holly is from the state of Ohio. She earned her associate degree in dental hygiene from Owens Community College, where she honed her skills in oral health care and patient education.
In March 2023, Holly joined the team at Pure Smiles Findlay, where she has quickly become a valuable asset due to her dedication to her patients and friendly demeanor. Her favorite thing about dentistry is building relationships with her patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health.
Outside of work, Holly enjoys a variety of activities that keep her active and engaged with the world around her. She loves to hike, kayak, and travel, taking day trips to explore new places and take in new experiences. She also enjoys live music and spending time with her family and friends. Holly’s hobbies include hosting game nights, making photo albums of her trips and fun memories, and reading.
Holly’s passion for dental hygiene and commitment to building lasting relationships with her patients make her an invaluable member of the Pure Smiles Findlay team.
Lydia
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lydia is a passionate Registered Dental Hygienist, born and raised in Ohio. She graduated from Rhodes State College with an Associate of Science in dental hygiene and has been a valued member of the dental community since then. Lydia joined our team in March 2023, where she has been providing excellent dental care and creating long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Lydia’s love for her job stems from her desire to connect with patients and educate them on proper oral hygiene practices. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) and is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene.
When Lydia is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the beauty of nature. She is an avid dog lover and enjoys spending quality time with her furry companion. Lydia’s ultimate goal is to travel and experience different cultures and traditions around the world. She believes that traveling is a great way to broaden one’s horizons and gain new perspectives.
Betty
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Betty was born in Colorado and raised in California, Indiana, and Ohio. She is a graduate of Findlay High School and Owens Community College. Betty joined the practice in February 2014. Betty’s favorite thing about working in the dental industry is the esthetics of dentistry. Betty’s love for dentistry developed at the beginning of her dental career in a crown and bridge lab. Betty enjoys working at Pure Smiles Findlay with her co-workers.
When she is not working, Betty likes to spend time with her family and travel.
Jenae
Dental Assistant
Jenae was born in Oregon, Ohio and raised in Millbury, Ohio. She is a 2003 graduate of Lake High School. Following graduation, Jenae attended Owens Community College for two years in pre-dental hygiene while on scholarship playing softball for the college. Jenae then attended Toledo Dental Academy for Dental Assisting. With 16 years of experience, Jenae joined our Findlay location in April 2021. She enjoys her “home-away from home” with her family of co-workers. She also looks forward to building relationships with the patients while helping ease their fears! Seeing their changing smiles is something Jenae looks forward to.
When she is not at work, Jenae loves spending time with her family camping and at sporting events.
Alexis
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Raised in Lima, Ohio and a graduate of Lima Central Catholic, Alexis received her Certified Dental Assistant Certification in 2018. She continued her education at Owens Community College where she achieved her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification in 2020. Alexis joined our Pure Smiles Findlay team in August 2021. Alexis enjoys sharing her artistic talents when placing restorations as well as helping a patient to experience a boost in their confidence by restoring their amazing smile. She looks forward to furthering her knowledge in her career.
Alexis enjoys hobbies such as camping, motorcycle riding, hiking, and playing tennis. She “never settles for less than what she has always hoped for” (author unknown) and looks forward to every moment with her fiancé, their children, and their dog; Casper.
Alicia
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Alicia was born and raised in Ohio. Following high school, Alicia completed her certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She joined Pure Smiles Findlay in 2022. Alicia enjoys helping patients feel more confident with their smiles. When she isn’t at work, Alicia can often be found renovating her home. Alicia has her goals set for retirement, but in the meantime she will remain focused on being kind and brave.
Trina
Dental Assistant
Meet Trina, our dedicated dental assistant, proudly born and raised in Ohio. Trina joined our Findlay team in November 2023, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to our practice. Beyond her commitment to dental care, she cherishes moments with her kids and grandkids, creating lasting memories. Trina’s love for exploration extends to her passion for travel. We’re thrilled to have Trina onboard, enriching our team with her skills and positive energy.
