Teresa
Operations Coordinator
Teresa joined the Pure Smiles Westerville team in September 2023. A native of Ohio and graduate of Newark Senior High School, Teresa has been part of the dental industry for 18 years. She loves the close-knit dental community and embraces evolving technology. Her strong suit lies in building meaningful relationships with both her colleagues and patients, making her an essential team member. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys quality time with family and friends, sports events, reading, catching up on shows, and relaxing vacations. Married for over two decades, her proudest achievement is being a loving mother to her two sons. Teresa’s guiding motto is, “I prefer you to make mistakes in kindness than work miracles in unkindness.”
LaShea
Accounts Receivable & Billing
LaShea joined Pure Smiles in March 2023. With a background as a Dental Assistant and certification from Ross IMDT, LaShea enjoys being part of a team that helps patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She values working alongside her teammates to support patients and contribute to a positive experience. Outside of work, LaShea enjoys spending time with her husband and son, making memories with family, and going camping.
Marti
Insurance & Billing Coordinator
Marti was born and raised in Clayton, Ohio. She is credentialed as a CPC-A through the American Academy of Professional Coders and is a member of the American Health Information Management Association. Marti enjoys being able to help patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and reading true crime novels. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Management from Sinclair Community College and plans to continue her education by earning her bachelor’s degree. Marti also hopes to live in Columbus someday.
Janet
Medicaid Special Projects Coordinator
Janet joined Pure Smiles in 2026. She enjoys supporting patients behind the scenes and takes pride in knowing her work helps patients receive the care they need to feel confident in their smiles. With more than two years of front office dental experience, Janet enjoys being part of a team that makes a positive impact on patients’ lives. Outside of work, Janet loves traveling, spoiling her four French Bulldogs, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys the opportunity to work remotely while continuing to support patients and the practices she serves.
Andrew
Team Accountant
Andrew joined Pure Smiles in 2024. He enjoys helping the organization make informed financial decisions by providing accurate and timely financial information. Andrew also enjoys improving processes and creating efficiencies that support the practices and teams serving Pure Smiles patients. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys following football, basketball, and golf, staying active, learning about personal finance and investing, and spending time with family and friends. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA and is passionate about continuous learning and professional growth.
Alex
Dental Lab Technician
Alex is a native of Ohio and a skilled Dental Lab Technician at Pure Smiles Westerville. He takes pride in crafting custom dental appliances and finds fulfillment in making a positive difference in people’s lives. Outside of work, Alex stays active in his community through volunteering and enjoys playing sports and spending time with family, especially his nieces
