Lima, Ohio (November 24, 2014) – Dr. Stephen M. Wojdyla, a 2000 graduate of the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, has joined Lima Dental Associates and will be accepting new patients at Lima and New Bremen Dental Associates starting December 8, 2014.
Dr. Wojdyla’s resume includes a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1996, Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2000, General Practice Residency from the University of Toledo Medical Center in 2001, and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science of Oral Biology from the University of Toledo Medical Center in 2003.
Dr. Wojdyla is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, Toledo Dental Society, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Wojdyla is also a published author including: “Using Intraoral Gothic Arch Tracing to Balance Full Dentures and Determine Centric Relation and Occlusal Vertical Dimension,” published in Dentistry Today, a 60 hour ADA- approved course titled “IV Moderate-Conscious Sedation Course,” and a book,“Dental Assisting National Board Preparation Course: Radiology and Infection Control for Dental Assistants.”
Dr. Wojdyla joined the University of Toledo Medical Center where he became the General Practice Resident at MCO, after working at a private pediatric dental office from 2001-2004. He emphasized treatment for patients of populations with limited access to care and dedicated much of his time to performing operating room procedures for special needs patients.
