First “Bash”on October 31, 2009-10AM-Noon: UNOH Event Center
October 27, 2009 – Lima, Ohio — Goblins, pirates, princesses, and more costumed characters will convene and compete for best costume at the Lima Dental Associates first annual Healthy Goblin Bash this Saturday. The “bash,”sponsored by the Lima Dental Kids Club, is designed to provide area kids with a safe, healthy and fun Halloween event and to encourage early intervention and education for positive lifelong oral health habits. Party attendees will be hosted by Lima Dentals own Sparkle! The Tooth Fairy as they enjoy age-appropriate Halloween movies, arts and crafts, free refreshments, including their custom “Jack-O-Pizza,”face painting, a costume contest and a costume parade finale.
“We’ve been planning this event for a long time, and are really looking forward to seeing the kids have a great time. As we all know, some children are fearful of going to the dentist. Our goal is to help them overcome that fear by offering a healthy and fun event for area kids,”said Dr. Erik Risolvato, D.D.S. “It’s also one of the reasons – among others, that we started the Lima Dental Kids Club. We’re hoping to teach good oral hygiene habits with early intervention and offer parents a savings to promote regular checkups and good dental care for their children,”he added.
